Interiors

Of our four properties, Doon Cottage is a cosy traditional cottage, recently refurbished, standing in its own grounds with a magnificent outlook over Cashel Bay and the beautiful rugged coastline.

The garden is landscaped and there is a sheltered terrace with garden furniture. Inside, there is a spacious sitting/dining-room with a multi-fuel stove and digital television, a separate kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, three large double bedrooms and three bathrooms, one with a washing-machine and dryer, all on the same floor.

Hair dryer, duvets, bed linen and towels are provided. A solid fuel starter pack is provided. High speed fibre broadband and electricity are provided free of charge while the cost of gas is metered. Pets are welcome (€25 per pet per week).

Doon Cottage

Gate Lodge

The Gate Lodge at Doonreagan, adjacent to the main house, has a private entrance and a small courtyard with a south-facing sun deck overlooking a landscaped garden.

The interior was recently refurbished, featuring an open-plan kitchen and dining/sitting room. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with a 5 ft double bed and an en suite shower room. Upstairs are two single bedrooms. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is digital TV and free high-speed broadband. Cot and high chair can be made available on request. Hair dryer, duvets, bed linen and towels are provided. All rooms have electric heaters. Washing-machine and dryer are available on request. Electricity is included from May-September, and at reduced cost October – April. There is also a shared Reading Room nearby inviting visitors to partake of a private library comprising over four thousand books. Filled bookcases, comfortable armchairs, a stove, as well as facilities for playing pool, table tennis, card and board games as alternatives to reading.

East Wing

A recent barn conversion with uninterrupted mountain views at the foot of Cashel Hill, offering a unique hideaway. There is a sheltered patio with garden furniture and a landscaped garden.

On the ground floor is a large double bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom en suite. Upstairs is a galleried bedroom with a 5ft double bed and an en-suite shower-room.
